Dolphins of the Desert Swimming Academy is proud to offer private swimming lessons at TriSports, where you can take advantage of modern technology to analyze and improve your strokes.  You will use a state-of-the-art dual-current Endless Pool onsite for learning.  Also known as a swimming treadmill, you swim in place against a changeable current that allows for longer swims (ideal for open-water training) and gives your instructor the ability to adjust the pace.  And Endless Pools utilize underwater mirrors placed directly under you, so you can easily see your stroke mechanics as you swim.

Using the Dartfish© computer analysis system, your instructor will record your stroke with underwater and above-water cameras. Once recorded, you and your instructor can utilize many of the analysis options to help you fully understand how your stroke can be improved. Some of these options include drawing tools, measurement tools, overlay with video from top-level swimmers, digital zoom, and Dartfish's StroMotion™ and Simulcam™ for split-screen comparisons.  Slow-motion and frame-by-frame techniques can also be employed since the video is recorded digitally.

FIST (Fit Institute SlowTwitch) and Serotta certified bike fitters are on staff at TriSports.com to help get your bike fit to you, not you to your bike!!! All fits (both triathlon and road) are based on many factors, such as your physical measurements, your cycling goals, your comfort and many other key components that go into a successful bike fit. At the end of all of fits, TriSports.com customers will leave with complete documentation of their fit for future reference. TriSports.com offers three different levels of bike fits:

Quick Fit – Developed for the customer who already owns a triathlon or road bike and needs a few quick adjustments to their bike or for those in the market for a new bike. This fit includes a fit consultation, all physical measurements and all necessary bike adjustments to existing parts. TriSports.com staff will use a fit bike, if required, to fine-tune your fit. Time: 30-45min. Cost: $75.

Standard Fit – This is TriSports.com’s most popular fit and is designed for athletes that are serious about improving their performance and comfort on their bicycle. This fit includes a fit consultation, all physical measurements, a complete fit on a fit cycle and all necessary bike adjustments. Time: 1-2 hours. Cost: $125 plus labor, if applicable.

Ultra Fit – If you are looking for the ultimate in bike fit, then The TriSports.com Ultra Fit is for you! This fit includes a fit consultation, all physical measurements, a complete fit on a fit cycle, complete spin scan and power output analysis and all necessary bike adjustments. This fit extends our normal 30-day fit guarantee to 60-days so you have extra time to make sure the fit is helping you reach your goals. Time: 3-4 hours. Cost: $250.

What to bring for your fit – You will need to come prepared for your fit by bringing your cycling clothing, cycling shoes, pedals(if you have them), helmet and your bike (if you have one).
