Paige Dunn, Sports Psychologist
TRIFEST Conference Speaker - Mental Training for Endurance Athletes & Mental Training for Endurance Coaches
Paige’s general philosophy is based around the idea that an athlete who is physically strong AND mentally strong is a well-rounded athlete. She also believe that an athlete of any level, recreational or professional, can benefit from Sport Psychology skills. Paige introduces Sport psychology skills and mental training as a necessary component to athletic training. If an athlete isn’t working on the mental side of their sport then they will never be the best athlete that they can be. Paige’s sessions are challenging and fun and I love working with all levels and abilities.
Paige counsels and educates athletes on the mental component of athletic experience through her private practice, Xcel Sport Psychology Group. In her practice, Paige teaches various Sport Psychology techniques to enhance performance: goal setting, motivation, imagery, confidence, relaxation, focus & concentration, effective team communication, and more. She currently works with athletes in individual and group sessions. Paige has a great deal of success motivating athletes to perform at their best. Her focus is working with elite endurance athletes. She enjoys lecturing and is currently writing her first book. To learn more about Paige and Xcel Sport Psychology Group please visit www.xcelsportspsychology.com

Colleen Kelley Ph.D. offers her clients the combination of experience, passion and an in depth understanding of the science of training. A Chemistry Professor based in Arizona, Colleen was trained by Coach Troy for five years starting back in 1995 and attended is first Tri Camp at Gettysburg College at that time. She became a Triathlon Academy Coach in 1999 and continues to train a handful of athletes while co-producing the Tucson Training Camps.
"I have been training, racing, and enjoying the sport of triathlon since 1991. My triathlon experiences have ranged from completing several Ironman races to racing in local sprint triathlons. I truly love racing at all distances and have found that the variety of distances that triathlon offers keeps me engaged in the sport. I have integrated triathlon into my life in the form of fitness, friendship, and professionalism. It is truly a gift.
Prior to becoming a triathlete, I was an age-group and collegiate swimmer. I have been a triathlon coach since 2001 and have also coached masters swimming. In my 'other life', I am a chemistry professor and a mom."
